On location in Horner Park, the largest park in the
Chicago Park District system on the northside of Chicago.
I use my base radio Yaesu FT-847 powered by my homemade solar panel.
As long as the Sun is shining the battery is being charged.
The battery is hooked directly to the radio.
Everything fits into a plastic carry box.
I made nice contacts on 20 meters on 14.249 with
KT1H in Massachusetts, thanks Ben.
